At Persephone we offer higher learning for adults, that means our students are at least 18, but preferably over 21 years old. We train intelligent, self responsible, ambitious and diligent adults, so we train but don’t indoctrinate:

1. Persephone UC defines higher education as both a product and a service, offered by a university through teachers to students. There is no need for governmental involvement as well established by the Austrian School of Economics. Government has neither competence in learning methodology nor expertise in any academic subject. Its inference results in more bureaucratic obstacles, higher cost and deteriorates the learning outcome.

2. Persephone UC encourages entrepreneurship and independent, critical and original thinking on both the student’s as the professor’s sides. We seek to motivate with financial benefits that are revolutionary, allowing students to graduate for very little or no cost – technically, students can even make a profit while getting their degree. Professors are evaluated and paid by performance, while the university operates on a commission basis – a true meritocracy.

3. At Persephone UC, getting in is not the hard part – graduating is, as it should be. When students graduate at Persephone UC, they have indeed proven they deserved so. We demand full engagement to make the best into the very best. We are proud of our graduates and their learning journey, which can be seen on their websites documenting their scholarly progress. There is full transparency and no cheating on Persephone UC and certificates are not only printed but also available as NFTs.

4. Persephone UC is very strict and principled when it comes to performance and merit but very openminded regarding individual talents, ideas and trajectories. Our students convinced our professors and faculty members of their potential, and from there on we support them in finding their own way to become the best they can. We believe in freedom of opinion, speech and expression and thus harbor a climate of tolerance. At Persephone UC, students learn through doing and creating, which includes trial/error and smart, peaceful discussion, where listening and understanding are quintessential. Communication is not only the solution to violence but also the key to great success. 5. P/UC offers theory with practice, real life learning experiences, that set our graduates far ahead of the curve. While paying a fraction of what universities typically charge, P/UC alumni get on top of that real trading and investing experience before graduating, which allows an unburdened start into a better future!
